Researchers

Kinebot is an innovative technology that uses artificial intelligence and computer vision to measure joint angles. This advanced kinematic solution provides researchers with data in a simple and quick manner, simply by uploading a video of the activity to be assessed.
The data can be used to evaluate a wide range of activities and offer technical support for professionals studying human movement, such as

  • Ergonomics assessment of movements/postures
  • Range of motion assessment
  • Repetitive movements
  • Work postures
  • Standard activity gestures
  • Kinesiological-functional diagnosis
  • Physical diagnosis
  • Labor movements
  • Joint range assessment

Kinebot was awarded the TAWI Ergonomics Award at the 2021 Brazilian Ergonomics Congress in the category of Best Case of Certified Ergonomist. The award was given for the work: "Comparison of Posture Analysis Used by Manufacturing Workers between the RULA Tool and Kinebot Software."

Research with Kinebot

At Kinebot, we aim to provide this solution to all researchers studying aspects of human movement, whether they are applying new practices or diagnosing dysfunctions.
To promote scientific development in kinesiology and kinematics, we created KINEBOT/PRO-RESEARCH, a special program for students/researchers in specialization, master's, and doctoral programs.
The Kinebot scientific support program offers students enrolled in affiliated specialization/master’s/doctoral programs kinematic evaluations conducted with Kinebot for their research projects.
In addition, we provide technical support for data extraction and processing, guidance for data collection and utilization, methodology development support and academic advisory support for building research projects.
